SubConscious Methods:
Technique 6: Self-Induced Trance
Assume a comfortable position and then begin to concentrate on an imaginary door within the mind.
Breathing should be deep and rhythmical, and eyes closed but rolled upward. Soon you will begin to feel a slight numbness that starts in the feet and travels up the legs until it eventually spreads all over the body. A muscular rigidity will then set in, along with a mounting pressure in the head.
After a while you will soon achieve the effect of being able to see through closed eyelids, and the room will appear to be illuminated by a pale, golden radiance. At this point you may become subjected to the appearance of apparitions and terrifying sounds. These must be ignored as much as possible as they can be very efficient in interrupting your concentration and breaking the trance.
And now you will be experiencing the peculiar sensation of having two bodies: the painful physical one and, imprisoned within it, a fluidic body. The next step would be to try and force this subtle body through an imaginary door in your mind by a strong effort of will. If you are successful, you will have the extraordinary sensation of passing through the door and hearing it click behind you. (Why this can be heard is unknown.) From here you can then step out of your physical body and walk away.
Technique 7: Lucid Dream
Lie down in a confortable manner. Try to force a lucid dream form while you are sleeping. Lucid state is a condition whereby in your dream you are able to realize that it is just a dream or in your sleep you are able to realize that you are actually sleeping. However to force a Lucid dream is quite hard. A suggested method would be to meditate using this mantra: I will be able to realize consciousness in my sleep/dream...or I will have a Lucid dream. One you have a lucid dream, and you realize that it is just a dream, you have to roll out of your bed. Dont wait, just use all your strength to roll out of your bed. When rolling out it is your astral body that is doing it.
Technique 8: Meditation
Lie down in a confortable manner. Then start doing chakra meditation. To learn about chakra meditation, go to lesson 2. Start from your heart chakra. This will help your body to relax and calm down. Next move on to the third eye chakra. By now your body should become numb. Then at last move on to the crown chakra. Meditate at the crown chakra. If you do all these 3 chakra meditation for more than an hour you will reach a state called 'alpha thetha'. You will lose all physical consciousness. Please dont fall alsleep. When you are ready just rise up and you have done your astral projection!
